Title Musketon bayonet, model 1892
Nationality French
Period c 1914
Price £0.00
Sold

Clean specimen with nice walnut grips and matching numbers to the hilt and scabbard. This is the later version, where the quillan has been modified, probably c 1914-15. The Musketon was basically the artillery/cavalry carbine version of the Lebel rifle, model 1886. Condition is generally superb with the bulk of the original blue finish to scabbard.

Hi Chris, just to let you know it arrived safely and I am very happy with it, also the condition. I have been looking for a while for that particular style and maker.. Thanks again for everything and I shall now be keeping an eye on your web page.
