Luftwaffe Flak NCO's walking out bayonet, on account of red felt slot filler (indicating Flak), bayonet knot with grey leather strap (indicating Luftwaffe) and silver bullion elements in body of knot (indicating NCO status). The blade is maker marked for 'Anton Wingen, Solingen'. Half a million men served with the Flak crews in Germany alone.
95%+ original paintwork remains to scabbard, leather strap shows signs of age with a fair bit of flaking of the surface. Very minor pickling to the nickel silver finish on the mounts of the hilt, otherwise OK.
