Title Other ranks Leib Hussaren busby plate
Nationality German
Period c 1914
Price £0.00
Sold

Nice example of busby plate as worn by 1st and 2nd Leib Hussaren regiments of the Prussian cavalry. This rather definitive design was the prototype for all the later death skull insignia of the Third Reich. It is made of solid nickel silver and has brass fittings soldered to the reverse. Quite a rare badge.
