Title Marine artillery gun layer's sleeve badge
Nationality German
Period c 1930-45
Price £0.00
Sold

This rather splendid looking badge would have been worn by an able or leading seaman working the shipboard flak defences. It would have been worn on the upper left sleeve of the naval uniform. The device is machine woven in bright red rayon against a wool background with a fine mesh backing.

It measures just over 9cm high and may be an ex-stores piece, as there is very little sign of wear.

The parcel has arrived - at the time you indicated.

The sword lives up to expectations and looks even better than on the website. The detail and etching is superb.

Thanks so much for your help and the extra information.
