This measures only 3.6cm high and represents the herculean efforts of this battery on the Macedonian front in combatting French and English troops. The bulk of the troops on this particular front were of German or Bulgarian origin, with a little Austrian help.
The medal is a little scarred with minor oxidisation here and there, but the relief is still nice and sharp and, above all, it is dated with a specific front and unit.
