Plain silver mounts (no hallmarks), boxwood grip and original soft leather scabbard. The forte of the 24cm blade is marked 'BOOG', a celebrated firm of Edinburgh cutlers of the 18th and early 19th century. The ferrule on the grip is now loose, having been fitted with resin which has shrunk with age.
