Title 199th Irish Rangers of Canada cap badge

This unit was also known as the Duchess of Connaught's Own Irish Rangers. Raised in 1916 and recruited in Montreal and district, in 1917 the 199th was absorbed into the 23rd Reserve Battalion.

Its condition is excellent. It would originally have been a blackened badge, but now the highlights have been polished.
