Title WW2 War Medal, sterling silver
Nationality Canadian
Period 1945
Price £30.00

This is the sterling silver version issued in 1945 to Canadian troops for service overseas in World War 2. The British version was struck in nickel silver, but for some reason the Canadians were lucky enough to have theirs issued in somewhat finer metal. It carried the normal ribbon for the British example, sadly missing.

Its condition is near EF, with a little marginal toning behind the king's logo.

Sword arrived today. Fabulous. This is an excellent example of a fighting sword of its period, and a real gem. The 1828 Pattern is such a gorgeous sword, and this is a fine example. Even my bride is impressed and she doesn’t really get swords.

I collected my iron cross this am from the sorting office. Thank you for the medal; as before it's a very nice one. Thank you for your prompt service and I look forward to purchasing more in the future from you and your wonderful site.
