Only a minor cigarette burn prevents this from being an ex-stores example. The body is aluminium with a bakelite cup and black leather straps. This is a one-litre flask, somewhat larger than the standard 80cl flask which was issued to ordinary troops. Dated 1942 on the neck of flask, under cup.
