This was the basic gallantry award for behind the lines action for non-combatant personnel, such as army nurses, clerical staff, etc. There is a short piece of clean, original ribbon and the finish is now back to the zinc, the bronze finish having been absorbed by the latter over the years.

The parcel has well arrived. Thank you for the nice bayonet.

It goes well with my collection.

...what you delivered exceeded expectations, both in terms of quality (item vs. price) & excellence of service. A pleasure to do business with. Rest assured, when the 'bayonet bug' bites, 'Antique-Militaria' will always be paid a visit.
