This little gem (almost 7.5" long) is in the form of a blackjack and is weighted as such, sufficient to crack someone's collarbone. '1832 CITY of NORWICH' is engraved around the top of the ball and 'Isaac Kemp, // Peace Officer.' on the barrel. Provincial tipstaves are quite rare, Bristol apart. There are a number of scratches and minor bruises, but generally it is in good shape for its age. There is a loop at the base of the grip for a leather strap. |
