MAGNIFY

This was the basic grade of Iron Cross of which some five million were awarded in WW2. The ribbon is the buttonhole variety, in reasonable conditon. The medal is mint, with all its original lacquerwork.

Interestingly enough, this particular award is rarely found as a competently made fake. There were a few pieces made in France in the early 1970s from original dies with triple figure identical number maker punches, eg 666.
