Title Double-ended dog whistle
Nationality British
Period c 1900
Sold

This is a classic late 19th-century solid nickel example, unscrewing at the centre for ease of cleaning. Although not maker marked, it was probably made in Birmingham or Sheffield. It is just possible that the short end would have had a small boxwood ball to enhance the sound. It measures just over 9cm long.
