This is almost certainly a late Weimar era piece on account of the 'gold', as opposed to the white colour. By 1936 most of these remains of the Weimar Republic had been absorbed by Himmler's polce state, certainly as far as police uniforms went. Even after 1936 some Feurwehr units still wore their old Land insignia on belt buckles for instance.

It is made of aluminium, with a steel support in EPNS finish. The condition is good.
