This fits the standard troopers helmet. This regiment, one of the oldest in the Household Cavalry, has guarded the monarchs of Britain ever since Charles II returned in 1660. They still guard the monarch on state occasions, along with the Life Guards, who wear the same helmet, but with a white plume. It is in ex-stores condition, but missing the rosette to cover the top fitting, and missing the locking nut on the base. |
