MAGNIFY

This little device secured the helmet chin chain on one side. It was from the helmet in use from 1871 to 1914, in this case for the volunteers, because it has a silver finish.

It is in nice condition, with its brass female securing piece, which would have been sewn on to the body of the helmet.
