MAGNIFY

This is the chin chain for the Foreign Service helmet, with a white leather lining. The Home Service helmet chin chains normally had a dark blue velvet lining.

It is in excellent condition, but the gilt finish is a little tarnished, with spots of verdigris here and there. The stitching, however, is in good order, even if the leather has shrunk a little.
