militaria item Cinq Sol bronze coin
- French
This coin was probably minted to commemorate the arrival of the Federes from Brest and Marseilles at the end of July 1792. It was issued by Monneron Freres of Paris and was valid currency in the Departements of Paris, Rhone, Loire, Gard (as stamped on the edge) at the time of the French Revolution.

militaria item Revolutionary bronze medal
- French
This bronze medal (3.5 x 5 cms) was struck to commemorate the founding of the National Guard in Lyons, similar to the National Guard in Paris. 'Federation Martiale' with 'Temple de la Concorde' below is on one side, with the coat of arms of the city of Lyons and 'Force Union et Prosperite' on the other side, with 'XXX MAI MDCCXC' for 1790.

militaria item 1859 Campaign of Italy medal
- French
This is Napoleon III's medal for the 1859 campaign, mostly fought in northern Italy against Austrian troops. On the reverse is 'Campagne d'Italie' with the names of six battles, including Magenta and Solferino, perhaps the most famous one. The artist's signature is below the emperor's bust, which is surrounded by the logo 'Napoleon III empereur'.
