MAGNIFY

This is a senior NCO's/officer's buckle of the Hyderabad State Cavalry, raised by the Nizam of Hyderabad for service in the Great War. They served in Egypt and the Suez Canal defences from 1914 onwards as an Imperial Service Troop contribution from the Indian princes.

Its condition is generally good, with some wear to the EPNS finish (on base metal), commensurate with its age.
