Waterloo medal, 1815, & Military General Service medal, 1793-1814. Two clasps: TOULOUSE, SALAMANCA. 'DANIEL HEITMULLER, 2ND REG. LIGHT DRAG. K.G.L.' & 'D. HEITMULLER, 2ND LT. DRAGNS K.G.L.' Private Daniel Heitmuller, 2nd Regiment of Light Dragoons of the King's German Legion.

This soldier served both in the Peninsula Campaign and at Waterloo, and was discharged 24.8.15, possibly as a result of wounds at Waterloo. This unit, though nominally Light Cavalry, actually served as Heavy Dragoons both in the Peninsula and at Waterloo. With copy of medal rolls. AGVF (Waterloo) & GVF (MGS).
