Title Stahlhelm tunic buttons
Nationality German
Period c 1930
Price £50.00

These rare tunic buttons (21mm diameter) are of two piece construction with a blue grey enamel finish. The Stahlhelm organisation was a massive nationwide veterans' outfit on the right wing of Weimar politics, natural allies of both the NSDAP and the various Freikorps in the common struggle against the Reds.

They are marked on the reverse 'PuC' in a monogram (Paulmann & Crone of Ludenscheid); 'Wirtsch.Abt.D. Bundesleitung;Ges.Gech.'

The condition is excellent, with a little light patination to the reverse.

Good news, my friend, the boot knife has arrived safe and sound. This example will more than fill my collection need.

Hanger arrived safe and sound 11.30ish today. Very pleased, it's as expected. Your excellent pics make all the difference in terms of confident buying over the net. As a matter of interest, the frog, which as you said is very a/f, is, as you thought, 'spot on'. On closer inspection it is a mk.1 Naval Frog, designated 'for cutlasses'. Date seems around 1860ish give or take.

By the way, I think your site is very user friendly. Seems to work much better than many and up to date, a rarity!!!
