Title SS-Vlaanderen cuff title

This unit was formed at the end of Sept. 1940 with 80 men enrolled in Antwerp and 50 in Ghent to help the occupying power administer the Flemish people. It remained fairly small because the bulk of its men transferred to fight in Waffen SS units in Russia, while veterans from the Russian front might resume service with the SS-Vlaanderen.

The principal unit link was with 'Germania' and later the Wiking Division

It is an RZM-style cuff title, with a seven-strand aluminium wire border and is one of the rarest of the Germanische SS cuff titles.

The condition is excellent for its age. It measures 24 inches overall and would stretch somewhat longer, but has been hemmed at the ends for wear on a tunic.
