Title Spike tomahawk head
Nationality British
Period c 1860
Price £150.00

This is a nice example of a Birmingham export belt axe/tomahawk head, almost certainly cast steel with some rudimentary attempt at polishing the front end of the blade. These were typical of what settlers may have carried in the West (US) and also the Indians.

There is a little damage to the top of the blade, the first half inch being somewhat chipped, and the spike at the rear is a little blunted.

Today I received your flag. It's very nice and looks genuine to me. Beautifull crisp colors! It looks barely used. It's a nice addition to my ww2 collection. I would even say, one of my top pieces.

Thanks for your excellent service and top communication!

I will check your site more often to see if you have more nice pieces.

The medal is in superb condition and the pouch. Thanks very much, Chris.
