This nice example, maker marked 'J.A.HENCKELS//ZWILLINGSWERK', has its original Fire Brigade portepee with a leather strap, an original dress leather frog and a professionally repainted steel scabbard. Most importantly, it has the saw tooth back, something of a rarity these days.
The blade and hilt have a nickel silver finish, which is virtually intact. The grips are black bakelite.
