Nice example, maker marked 'GOTTLIEB / HAMMESFAHR / SOLINGEN FOCHE'. Prussian ordnance marks to forte and pommel. Unusual to find one of these without a maker's date. Thin black paintwork to scabbard, which is of reasonably recent origin, but underneath this the steel is in good shape.
