Title Reichsnahrstand Day badge, Hamburg
Nationality German
Period 1935
Sold

This commemorates the opening of the second exhibition of the Farmers Union on 25 May 1935 in Hamburg. Rechsnahrstand badges/insignia/medals are quite scarce compared to those of other NSDAP organisations. 'Blut und Boden' was their motto. It is a die-struck badge with an 'old silver' finish.

Apart from the fact that the pin on the reverse is missing, the condition is excellent with a little bleeding to the plating on the highlights.

Prov: from the J.R. Gaunt & Son Ltd. Pattern Book Archive, sold at auction by order of the National Army Museum, London.

I received the Norwegian Krag bayonet and it is more than I expected. Absolutely beautiful condition. Thank you very much.

Just to let you know that the bayonets arrived safely this morning and I am extremely happy! They are everything that I had hoped they would be, but better! I am extremely pleased that i purchased them from you. The 1867 Albini ... is an absolute beauty, the blade is immaculate. The other is in fact in far better condition that I had imagined as well. So all in all, I couldn't be happier! Many thanks Chris.

I very much look forward to doing business with you again in the near future.
