Title QEII Warrant Officer's wriststrap insignia
Nationality British
Period 1953-70s
Sold

As far as I know, this style of insignia was introduced in WW1 and was worn on the wrist in shirtsleeve order as an indication of rank. The badge is a gilding metal example, held in place by a brass baking plate secured with a brass split pin.

The condition is clean overall, except for some age/use wear on the tongue of the strap.
