Title Pair of overcoat pistols
Nationality British
Period c 1830
Sold

This is a fine pair of bronze-stocked pistols, covered in high-quality engraving, both on the barrels and stocks. From the engraving, I would judge these are Birmingham products rather than London. The barrels measure six-and-seven-eighths inches. The back-action locks have nice, crisp actions.

The calibre is between .45 and .50. There are no visible proof marks, but these could possibly be under the stocks.

Sword arrived today. Fabulous. This is an excellent example of a fighting sword of its period, and a real gem. The 1828 Pattern is such a gorgeous sword, and this is a fine example. Even my bride is impressed and she doesn’t really get swords.
