This pair, a plain ex-stores example, is the basis for all KM NCO shoulder straps. In service it would be decorated with assorted stars and professional insignia indicating the exact rank and job of the wearer. They would have been worn on:reefer jacket, greatcoat, leather jacket, white tunic.

The condition is exellent for its age; there is a little moth tracking on the reverse and minor dulling of the bullion. It is built from dark blue wool on a card base with gold bullion overlay.
