These were worn by the National Sports League as qualification badges on sports vests and singlets. A variation of this badge (on a somewhat larger scale, with Olympic rings beneath) was worn by the German Olympic team. The National Sports League would have involved all athletics.
It is in a BeVo finish (rayon). There is a slight tear at the top right hand corner. It would appear to have been cut from a roll at some stage, never having been mounted on any clothing.
