This finely enamelled badge, on an 800-marked silver frame (also marked Napoli), is for the Naval Division of Eastern Africa, ie Abyssinia, and commemorates the 14th year of the Fascist era. It is a real art deco gem, the style reminiscent of the great sea liner posters of the era, with a battleship instead of a liner!
It is not clear whether this refers to a land-based naval division, rather in the manner of our own in WW1, or a ship-bound unit.
The condition is excellent, with a few minor age scratches to the enamel.
