Title Musketon bayonet, model 1892

Clean specimen with nice walnut grips and matching numbers to the hilt and scabbard. This is the later version, where the quillan has been modified, probably c 1914-15. The Musketon was basically the artillery/cavalry carbine version of the Lebel rifle, model 1886. Condition is generally superb with the bulk of the original blue finish to scabbard.
