These were worn on the lower left sleeve as a proficiency badge to show that the man had qualified for truck driving. It appears to be white cotton thread on a felted wool background, with the claws picked out in silk (or rayon).

It (5.5cm diameter) is essentially in ex-stores condition, but there is some age staining to the lower part of the radiator grille. Otherwise the piece is in ex-stores condition.
