This is the second pattern Luftwaffe eagle (swept back tail), maker marked Bevo, Wuppertal. It was introduced around 1935 and worn on a white sleeveless vest. It would have been worn for athletics, etc.
It measures 14cm across and is machine embroidered black cotton on an off white cotton field. The condition is exellent for its age and it has never been worn.
