Title Left-hand bridle gauntlet

This would have been worn with a half armour: breast, back, pot and leg and shoulder elements. Typical of what the German reiter (light cavalry) used in the 30 Years War in the mid-17th century. It is Nuremberg town and maker marked. All the finger lames have been restored and possibly the thumb piece as well. Otherwise all original material.
