Stamped with LZA and a winged eagle to the reverse, and the remains of a maker's name. Probably refurbished (black stain) for service use in WW2. Academically interesting as showing clear evidence of use in both wars. The original WW1 service issue holsters were brown leather. The leatherwork is a little worn in parts on the face of the holster. |
