Title Lancashire Hussars cap badge, 1896 pattern
Nationality British
Period c 1914-20s
Sold

This die-struck gilding metal badge would have been worn on both the full dress caps of the regiment and also on the khaki gor-blimey caps of WW1. The regiment was converted to artillery after WW1, as were most of the yeomanry regiments, at which point they would have sported the ordinary gunners badge, I suspect.

Its condition is nice and clean, with no heavy polishing or abuse.

Thank you, Chris. All arrived safely. Very quickly too, much quicker than from the US! Very satisfied. It is a nice sword.

Anyway, thanks again and I have marked your site for future interest.
