A clean example with 90%+ gilt finish to hilt and scabbard (ie there are slight signs of service wear). Plain blade, no maker mark - the blade has lost its original factory polish, but is still in good shape. This dirk was used by Petty Officers and commissioned officers of the German navy in WW2.
Daggers in these hammered scabbards are normally found with plain blades. It is the hammered scabbard that makes this a scarce and desirable item.
