Title Export K98 Mauser bayonet

This fairly uncommon example of a K98 bayonet was typically made for export in the Weimar period from c 1927 on and is mounted in a 1940-dated scabbard with a first pattern Third Reich bayonet frog. Note long serial number at forte, typical of an export piece of the period; also absence of Waffenamt stamps.
