Title Duke of Atholl's clan badge
Nationality Scottish
Period c 1950?
Price £20.00

The Duke of Atholl was the only man in Britain allowed to raise a private army, so this might well be for his unit. However, other members of his clan/family would have been entitled to wear this.

It would appear to be made of base metal with an EPNS finish and measures 3.5cm across. It is stamped 'MADE IN GT. BRITAIN' on the reverse, an indicator of later provenance.

It is a nice clean badge. The central device is die-struck and sweated onto the body of the badge.
