This weapon was carried by the Swiss cavalry as their regulation sword c 1830 and by the Austrian Landwehr cavalry somewhat later. Iron hilt, dark patinated with age. Minor age patination to plain blade. Scabbard machine polished. No maker mark, no unit identification marks.
