An excellent carte de visite of minor Indian nobility (G. Mansingji thakore saheb of Palitana) with a personalised inscription (Christmas and New Year greetings) to Captain M.E. Nuttal, Aide de Camp to the Governor of Bombay. It is uncommon to find a personalised 'Christmas card' of this type to a British officer in the Raj.
