This pattern of bayonet was a government conversion of commercial export stock destined for South America. The Prussian acceptance stamp on the forte is clear, as is the BK maker mark.

The condition of this bayonet is not first-rate, the blade having minor pitting to the surface and rather scruffy wood grips.
