This is an ASW maker-marked item, blade dated 1944, scabbard dated 1941 (also marked ASW), complete with combat frog (one rivet missing). Reasonable bakelite grips. Blade has some traces of original finish. Hilt mounts show minor pitting, now largely cleaned off. Scabbard is bright, with little surface wear.
