This is the last model, wartime make, constucted from rayon rather than silver or aluminium bullion as in the earlier models. This could be worn on either sword or dirk for the Navy, or on the Army dirk. Flight personnel in the Luftwaffe wore a similar knot on their dirks, but with a much shorter cord.

The condition is exellent, ex-German tailor's shop.
