This is the model with the blood and honour ('blut und ehre') inscription. It is marked 'M7/37' for the maker, E & F Horster, which is also impressed in full on the blade, which has been carefully sharpened. This knife was carried by fully fledged members of the HJ as a mark of achievement within the unit.

The scabbard retains excellent leather work and 70% of its original paintwork. The enamel in the grip badge is perfect and the badge rattles somewhat in its recess, as should most originals.
