Title 1829 pattern light cavalry trooper's sabre
Nationality British
Period c 1830
Sold

Clean example with much factory polish extant to blade (36"). Scabbard has been carefully machine cleaned. Hilt has original leather binding with a few old inert worm holes. There are no ordnance marks/inspection stamps; however, this is an extremely scarce sword and hard to find in nice condition with scabbard.

This pattern is would have been carried by the bulk of the Light Brigade in their famous charge at Balaclava during the Crimean War, October 1854.

Just a quick line to advise that the badges have arrived in good condition and I am very pleased with them.

Thanks again for your prompt and kind attention.

Just a short note to let you know that I have collected the Police fur cap this morning from the Post Office. I am really happy with it, and for sure I will give a thumbs-up to your service. This was the first item I ever bought from you, and I hope it will not be the last.
